We advocate the use of ferro-cement rain catchment tanks, bio-sand filters, hydraulic ram pumps, solar pumps, concrete sinks and toilets, and other appropriate technologies to meet the specific needs of each community. We provide bacterial testing to help monitor the effectiveness of water treatment methods. When communities are supplied with the knowledge and training of how to provide for their
own, they take ownership that passes from generation
to generation.This strategy, in the long-term, will empower individuals to solve
their own water issues as their communities continue to develop.
